Truwax is a sterile bone wax used to control bleeding from bone surfaces during surgical procedures by providing hemostasis from bone injury and cuts. It is made from a sterile mixture of beeswax, paraffin wax and isopropyl palmitate. It controls bleeding of the bone by blocking the pores and channels of cut or damaged bone.

Truwax effectively stops bleeding from bone surfaces through a tamponade effect and provides a viable option in terms of ease of application during surgeries.
The ultra-soft material in Truwax ensures excellent malleability. Its smooth consistency enables easy application during surgeries. It should not be used where rapid osseous regeneration and fusion are desired.
